Short Haitus

Hello Everyone!

If you haven't already noticed, I've been busy and have been slacking the blogging dept. I just wanted to give you the heads up to let you know that I will be extra busy this week getting ready for the big Crafty Wonderland Spring Sale happening next weekend. I still plan to do some postings here, but I can't say exactly when it will happen. After this week is over, I plan to go back to my regular (almost) daily posting schedule. Have a great week!

10 Things I ♥ Monday

Hi Everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. I spent my Saturday working a double at Wildwood Restaurant, but I had Sunday off. I played outside in the sun and cooked homemade pasta and ragu sauce for dinner. It was yummy if I don't say so myself. I have another busy week ahead of me. I thought I'd share 10 things I'm loving with you all...

1. Bird art by Pragya K.

2. Pretty kitchen corner by Dottie Angel.

3. Hand stitched embroidered buttons from embroidery button swap at Feeling Stitchy.

4. Mary Blair's pretty illustration.

5. Pretty jars.

6. Gorgeous laser cut wood necklace by Henderson Dry Goods.

7. A cozy bed from Little Gypsy.

8. Striped tights from KRISATOMIC.

9. Hand-painted lunch tin set via Lushlee.

10. 3D Floral Wallpaper via Jars of Cute.

Hope you enjoyed that! I have another double work day tomorrow, so I won't be able to do a blog post. But I will see you on Wednesday!

Thursday To-Do

Happy Thursday everyone! Today is my one day off this week. It is a beautiful sunny day in Portland. I spent the morning running errands and now I'm home for the afternoon with a list of things to do:

First on my list is to print and cut more business cards...

Make more God's Eye Pins...

Sand down this shelf I bought at Goodwill to get it ready for painting...

Soak up some sun in my backyard...

Hope you all are having a great day ♥

Artist of the Day: Kittenchops

Hey Everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Monday is here and I have quite a busy week ahead of me! It is for this reason that I am starting the week off with my "Artist of the Day" post. I am working two double-shifts in a row (Mon-Tues) so I won't have the time to do a post for Tuesday. So, I hope you enjoy Kittenchops, my artist of the day. And I'll have more inspiration for you on Wednesday. See you then!

Kittenchops, is the illustration and design work of Zaara of Seattle, WA. I first came across her work from the packaging she designed for Theo Chocolate. I love her illustration style and vibrant use of color.

Be sure to check out her website and blog.

The Lovely Blogger List

Today, while reading the lovely blog Oh, Hello Friend, I came across The Lovely Blogger List created by Lovely Clusters. I think this is a great idea and am excited to join! There isn't anyone on the list from Oregon (yet!). All you have to do to join the list is submit your blog and do a post answering a few questions about yourself. Here goes:

My name is Rachel. I am 25-years-old and live in the lovely Portland, OR. I work as a freelance graphic designer/artist/crafter. I have my own Etsy shop called Camp Smartypants. I make and sell women's clothing and accessories inspired by my childhood memories of summer camp adventures.

I absolutely love bright colors, tie-dye, feathers, sewing, illustration, crafts, cooking, and thrifting.
